A people that praise the lord

The worship of Jesus Christ is dynamic, powerful, and governmental. It is by the Spirit. It is without falsehood, masks or armor. It is vulnerable. It is safe and it makes men, women, and families strong. It sets nations on the right foundation. It opens Heaven wider over regions. It shuts down hell.

The worship culture that God is building in a people in the 21st Century has a pattern from 1000 B.C. Worship across the globe is being restored as God's walks out a glorious promise in Christ and in His ekklesia, "I will return and rebuild David's fallen tent."

This work of God and His worship culture in the 21st Century ekklesia is an experience of God's signs and wonders, the maturity of the Body of Christ, and intervention and redemption of the nations of the earth.

SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP:

REBUILDING DAVID'S FALLEN TENT

Acts 15:12-18 The whole assembly became silent as they listened to Barnabas and Paul telling about the signs and wonders God had done among the Gentiles through them. When they finished, James spoke up. “Brothers,” he said, “listen to me. Simon has described to us how God first intervened to choose a people for his name from the Gentiles. The words of the prophets are in agreement with this, as it is written: “‘After this I will return and rebuild David’s fallen tent. Its ruins I will rebuild, and I will restore it, that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord, even all the Gentiles who bear my name, says the Lord, who does these things’—  things known from long ago.

David's tent was a literal tent in Jerusalem during the reign of King David. And in this tent, David followed the patterns of worship, of praise, and prophecy, taught him by the prophet, Samuel. David broke out of a limiting box and in following the Spirit established a new worship culture in Zion that pleased God. God is rebuilding this in our day. He is rebuilding these patterns of praise and worship at MDCC as He is across the globe -- experiences of encountering God that are intermingled with prayer in English and prayer in the Spirit, of the centrality of the Old and New Testament Scripture, of prophetic song,  and of life-changing experiences with Jesus, the Lord Sabaoth and the Lamb freshly slain. Our worship times each Sunday are always different as we corporately lay aside our timelines and agendas to obey and follow the Spirit's leadership. It is powerful, joyful and refreshing. It is building, governmental, and required for the reformation of our region. Come and join us.
